Mr Horner contacted The New Driveway Company to replace and extend his drive with a new block driveway in Garsington, Oxford.
The job would involve lots of digging to completely overhaul the front garden and driveway area – which we happily agreed to!
The drive is located on a steep gradient with a tight entrance space which meant that access was limited and slightly tricky.
We began by removing the existing driveway and part of the front garden to create room for the new larger driveway.
After digging the foundations of the driveway we laid a weedproof membrane to stop pesky weeds growing between the blocks in the future.
The driveway was created with Bradstone Woburn Rumbled Autumn blocks, we built a retaining wall down one side of the drive using sleepers.
To finish we created new front steps leading up to the front door.
“We are so pleased with our new driveway. From day one, the team worked tirelessly to ensure our exacting requirements were met. Even through the job, when we changed the type of stone used and added more to the specifications and landscaping, Darren, Ben and their teams were accommodating and helpful and we could not have asked more. Special thanks must go to the build teams for the driveway and hard landscaping. The quality and speed at which they worked ensured that the job was finished to a wonderful level and on time.
Many people have remarked on our wonderful new driveway and we would have no hesitation in recommending The New Driveway Company to everybody!’
